General
My standard individual therapy fee starts at $200 and family/couple's therapy is $225. I offer a low fee and sliding scale to keep therapy affordable for those in need- please let me know if you request one of these. I do not accept insurance at this time, because I want to work for you, not the insurance companies. However, many insurance plans will take a "superbill" and may reimburse part of the session cost. You can ask your insurance provider about their policy.
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the cost of your mental health care. This estimate shows the expected charges for services that will be provided, including therapy sessions, assessments, or other care plans—before you start treatment. This estimate is intended to help you understand and plan for the cost of treatment before services begin and to reduce the possibility of unexpected bills. A new or updated Good Faith Estimate will be provided if there are changes to services or fees that affect the original estimate. If your actual charges are $400 or more above the estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.
