Living with chronic medical conditions can feel lonely, exhausting and confusing. Most of my clients have spent years searching for answers before finding me.

As someone who in recovery from chronic illness, I myself know how frustrating and isolating it can be to suffer from mysterious symptoms. You may have gone from doctor to doctor who either dismiss you ("It's all in your head") or give you treatments that don't really work in the long term. All this can exacerbate trauma symptoms and take a toll on your nervous system.

What many people don't realize is that chronic health symptoms can be signs of unresolved stress or emotional pain. In fact, did you know that 70-90% of people with chronic pain and/or illness have also experienced trauma? When we begin to understand the underlying psychological causes (in conjunction with appropriate medical care of course), true healing at a deeper level becomes possible.​​
